PreS-Little Princess is expecting a sibling. She wants a sister, but the whole kingdom cautions her that the baby might be a boy-you don't get to choose. Page after page she outlines why a sister would be better-brothers are rough, stinky, and don't have the right toys. But as usual, she does not get what she wants, and yet she is satisfied with the result-a Little Prince. In this installment, Little Princess is not quite as bratty as in others, showing that she has matured a bit. Children familiar with the series will recognize the crown-and-white-dress-clad Princess, done in Ross's signature watercolor and line. Fans will not be disappointed with this offering, and it is a nice addition to new-sibling collections.-Angela J. Reynolds, Annapolis Valley Regional Library, Bridgetown, NS, Canada
